Couples
The fullest life is experienced through strong and healthy relationships. When we are struggling in our relationship with a spouse, fiancé, or significant other it affects our physical and psychological health. Sometimes we need extra help dealing with the obstacles that get in the way of our relationships flourishing. We can help walk couples through big transitions, improve communication and conflict resolution skills, deal with the fallout of infidelity, or focus on other issues that might be causing a loss of affection and trust. We provide a safe space for couples to develop a more meaningful and fulfilling relationship going forward.
Children/Adolescents and Parenting
Children and adolescents struggle with issues of daily life and mental health (depression, anxiety, etc.) just as adults do. They may act out their feelings behaviorally in ways that concern parents, teachers, and others. GCCS works with children and adolescents to help them learn healthier coping skills so that they can improve their behaviors. We also work with the child’s parents to help them learn new ways to parent or handle difficult behavioral problems so that everyone in the family can feel more successful. We provide parenting skills to any parents who need them, whether first-time parents or parents in transitional life stages with their children (middle school, high school, college, etc.). We can also help divorced couples with their co-parenting skills.
